If you are choosing between JingKeXin and LCSC for your next batch of components, you have probably noticed something uncomfortable: most comparison articles online read like paid advertorials. This one is different. We are JingKeXin, so yes, we have skin in the game—but we will also tell you when LCSC is the better call, and we have structured this article so you can verify every claim.

Quick Verdict (TL;DR)

Pick JingKeXin if…Pick LCSC if…
You need a part LCSC doesn't list, or a hard-to-find / EOL / shortage partYou need 10pcs of a common STM32 / ESP32 / 74-series part for a prototype
Your order is 50-5,000 pcs and you need it in 48 hoursYour order is below 50pcs and 3-5 day shipping is fine
You need a real human to chase down a quote within 4 hoursYou are happy self-serving through the LCSC web shop
You send BOMs with 200+ line items regularlyYou send BOMs occasionally, and most lines are 1-10 pcs

1. Channel Coverage & Brand Portfolio

LCSC is part of the JLCPCB ecosystem and stocks roughly 250,000+ SKUs from a curated set of brands. Their catalog is deep on common logic, MCUs, discretes, and passives—exactly what most hobbyist and prototype buyers need. They are a great self-serve option for components you can find by part number on their website.

JingKeXin is an independent supply chain service provider with access to a global network of 200+ verified channels (other distributors, franchised brokers, factory-direct overflow, and authorized excess channels). We do not try to list 250k SKUs on a website. Instead, when you send us a part number that is hard-to-find, EOL, on allocation, or has a 26-week lead time, we leverage the network to find it. The trade-off: less self-serve, more human-driven.

Practical difference: If your part is in LCSC's catalog, LCSC is usually faster and cheaper. If it is not, the time you spend refreshing LCSC's stock page is time you could have spent sending JingKeXin one email.

2. MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)

LCSC lists MOQ=1 on most catalog items, with price breaks at 10/100/1,000. The unit price at 1pc is, of course, the highest.

JingKeXin typically starts at 50pcs for spot orders. We can go lower for repeat customers or strategic parts, but the 50pcs floor reflects the unit economics of the spot market: someone is pulling the part from a reel, repackaging it, and shipping it to you—each of those steps has a fixed cost.

Practical difference: For a 1pc prototype, LCSC wins. For a 50-5,000 pcs production batch, the gap narrows because LCSC's small-quantity price premium starts to bite.

3. Lead Time

LCSC ships from their Shenzhen warehouse with same-day dispatch on orders placed before 16:00 (China time). International delivery is typically 3-7 business days via DHL/FedEx.

JingKeXin targets 48 hours from confirmed order to dispatch for in-stock parts. In practice this means: if you send us a BOM at 09:00 Monday, you usually have a confirmed quote by 13:00, wire-transfer-clear by 17:00, and the parts on a plane by Tuesday afternoon. For shortage / EOL parts that need sourcing, lead time depends on the source channel—typically 5-15 business days.

Practical difference: Both are fast. JingKeXin's edge is in shortage / EOL parts where the bottleneck is finding the part, not shipping it.

4. Shortage & EOL Capability

This is where the two diverge the most. LCSC is not in the shortage business—they sell what they have on the shelf. If a part is on allocation, their website will simply show it as out of stock, and there is no escalation path.

JingKeXin is built for this. Our team handles shortage reports, EOL replacements, and obsolete hard-to-find parts daily. We track lifecycle status across major manufacturers (TI, ADI, ST, Microchip, NXP, Infineon) and pre-position inventory on the brands with the most volatile supply. When you have a part on your BOM that the catalog channels cannot fulfill, that is our core use case.

Practical difference: If you have a part that the entire market is short on, LCSC will not solve that. JingKeXin exists exactly for that problem.

5. Quality Control

LCSC is a catalog reseller. Their quality control is on the components they directly source from manufacturers and authorized agents. For in-catalog parts, the quality is consistent and you get what you order.

JingKeXin is a supply chain service provider, which means we handle parts from many different sources, including overflow and excess inventory. Our quality process is built around that reality:

  • 100% incoming inspection on stock purchases—visual check, lot/date code verification, packaging integrity
  • Outgoing double-verification by a different team member before shipping
  • Third-party lab verification available on request (we will coordinate with SGS, CTI, or your preferred lab and provide the report)
  • 15-day money-back guarantee for documented quality issues

Practical difference: LCSC's catalog parts are predictable. JingKeXin's parts come from more varied sources, so we have built a more rigorous QC layer to compensate. If you have never worked with a supply chain service provider before, the third-party lab option is your friend—use it on the first order to build confidence.

6. BOM & RFQ Service

LCSC has a "BOM Tool" inside JLCPCB for PCB assembly. It is excellent if you are using JLCPCB SMT, and you can upload a CSV directly. But the tool optimizes for JLC's catalog—it will not find shortage / EOL parts that LCSC does not stock.

JingKeXin treats every RFQ as a sourcing problem. You send us a BOM (xlsx, csv, or pdf), and we return:

  • Confirmed unit price and stock for in-stock lines
  • Sourcing plan and lead time for shortage lines (with multiple source options when available)
  • Lifecycle alerts (NRD / EOL / Obsolete) on any line that has a known end-of-life issue
  • Substitution suggestions when a line cannot be fulfilled
  • Quote turnaround: 4 business hours for BOMs under 50 lines, 24 business hours for larger ones

Practical difference: LCSC's BOM tool is a self-serve product. JingKeXin's BOM service is a human service. If your BOM is 200 lines and 30 of them are hard-to-find, the human service is the difference between a quote you can build a schedule around and a quote that is half-empty.

7. Target Customer Fit

Honestly, JingKeXin and LCSC serve different buyers:

Buyer ProfileBetter Fit
Hobbyist / student / weekend tinkerer (1-10 pcs per order)LCSC
Startup / small-batch hardware team (50-500 pcs, 2-4 orders/year)Either—depends on the parts
Mid-volume OEM / EMS (500-10,000 pcs, monthly orders)JingKeXin (BOM service, shortage handling)
Industrial / automotive / medical buyer (regulated, documentation-heavy)JingKeXin (QC reports, traceability)
Buyer chasing a hard-to-find or EOL partJingKeXin (this is what we do)

4-Question Decision Tree

Answer these four questions honestly, and you will know which supplier to send the next BOM to:

  1. Is your part number in LCSC's catalog and currently in stock?
    • Yes → Send the order to LCSC.
    • No → Continue to Q2.
  2. Is your quantity below 50pcs?
    • Yes → LCSC is probably still the better call, unless the part is hard-to-find.
    • No → Continue to Q3.
  3. Is your part on industry shortage, EOL, or obsolete?
    • Yes → Send the BOM to JingKeXin.
    • No → Continue to Q4.
  4. Do you have multiple parts on this BOM that LCSC does not stock?
    • Yes (>5 lines) → Send the BOM to JingKeXin for a one-stop quote.
    • No → Use both: LCSC for in-stock lines, JingKeXin for the rest.

What We Will Not Claim

To be transparent about what JingKeXin is not:

  • JingKeXin is an independent supply chain service provider. We work through a network of verified global channels, focusing on stable supply of mainstream brands. If your procurement policy requires factory-direct contracts, we can connect you with the right partner—just let us know during the RFQ.
  • We do not promise the lowest unit price on common parts. For high-volume common parts, large authorized distributors usually have better pricing.
  • We are not the fastest for sub-50pcs orders. LCSC is.

What we do promise: stable channels, mainstream brand coverage, full-link traceability, and real spot-stock capability. If your problem is "I need a specific part, in a specific quantity, on a specific timeline, and the catalog channels cannot deliver"—that is what we are here for.

Try It Yourself

The fastest way to know which supplier is right for your project is to send the same BOM to both and compare:

  • Quote completeness (% of lines quoted)
  • Lead time on the lines you actually need fast
  • Total cost including shipping, MOQ penalties, and rework risk

For BOMs with hard-to-find lines, our quote turnaround is 4 business hours. Send your BOM here, and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right call for it.
